Remember these from last year?
Pain in my ass they were.
They were guide markers for visitors to follow leading up to the barn. But I had a hard time making the holes in the top bigger so I could fit fake candles in them to make them glow.
Well I used my crafters knives this time around, made a hole in the bottom, so I could flick the candle on and off, and glued the candle into the top with hot glue. Plus I made many more seeing as they were so easy to cut this time around.
Should be better for this year, so people aren’t screaming that they cannot see!

Turned this dollar store plastic skull into a paper mache creepy looking dead monkey skull thing…still have to paint it some more. But I think mine would be better for more creepy feel in decomposing leaves for my scavenger hunt.
Materials used: Newspaper, paper mache mix (3/4 glue 1/4 water), paint, plastic skull, hot glue gun (to make veins).

Halloween decor inspiration: put a glow ball in a white stocking and hang many from trees or ceiling.
Okay so these little darlings I got at the dollar store, they come in a sleeve of 5. Ultimately they are just mini jack-o-lantern baskets. BUT, me being myself, turned them into lanterns. I just stuck an imitation tea-light face down into the hole on the top (which is conveniently the right size to fit a tea-light), this way they can easily be turned on an off. I will be using them as a pathway guide for guests to find the barn where the party is located.
